Barcelona City Council has begun processing the General Metropolitan Plan Modification (MPGM) for the 22@ district. The technological district will see the construction of more homes whilst maintaining the space provided for economic activity, with the aim of becoming a more mixed use neighbourhood, according to La Vanguardia.
The municipal government and the ERC have approved the urban modification, which had votes in favour from BComú, PSC and ERC and abstentions from JxCat, Cs, PP and BCN Canvi.
