During the first three quarters of the year, Barcelona saw transactions in the office sector amounting to 1.27 billion euros, 72% of the total for Spain, according to Savills Aguirre Newman.
The existence of product and the quality of the assets for sale in Barcelona are the main factors that have attracted the attention of investors unsatisfied with rival locations.
Year on year, investment volume was almost three times higher than the same period last year, driven by five mega-deals, each worth more than 100 million euros, accounting for around 55% of the total amount transacted.
