Bankia has announced that, in the coming days, it is going to offer a moratorium of up to six months on mortgage repayments to those customers whose finances have been affected by the situation caused by the pandemic, according to a statement issued by the entity.
The bank, chaired by José Ignacio Goirigolzarri, has announced that customers who meet the requirements of the Government’s Royal Decree, which initially established a one-month delay in payments, may benefit from this measure.
