Bain Capital Credit and Stoneweg Hospitality have acquired the 400-room H10 Andalucía Plaza hotel complex in Marbella. However, the hotel will continue to be operated by H10 Hotels until the end of 2021. After that, the companies plan to refurbish the building.
The price of the transaction was not disclosed. The hotel complex, located in the centre of Puerto Banús, has 400 rooms, several bars and restaurants, a swimming pool, several meeting rooms, a gym and a spa.
The hotel’s refurbishment will transform the establishment located next to the Casino de Marbella into a lifestyle destination and a central location for the many events that take place throughout the year in Marbella.
The works will include the refurbishment of the rooms, common areas such as the lobby, the swimming pool, the various F&B outlets and the gardens and outdoor terrace.
