Grupo Avintia, which specialises in the construction-real estate sector, and Cemex Ventures, Cemex’s corporate venture capital and open innovation unit, have joined forces to promote the industrialised construction of homes in Spain.
In addition, the companies have launched Wallex, a business for the offsite design and engineering, manufacture and installation of panelled and self-supporting construction systems. At the same time, they have announced the opening of the first industrialised construction factory in Spain (in Carabias, Segovia), which will be followed by the opening of more plants.
