Áurea Homes is negotiating with several investors to build a portfolio of 800 rental homes divided into nine projects that the developer will ultimately sell onto one of them, according to EjePrime.
The company plans to build four rental housing developments in Madrid, two in the province of Sevilla, two others in Navarra and one in Barcelona. The company’s CEO, David Botín, explained that “funds have increased their interest” in this type of asset since they understand that the rental segment may gain weight in the market as a result of the crisis caused by the coronavirus.
