In Spain, the office real estate market registered multiple transactions during the first half of the year. The large cities, Madrid and Barcelona recorded an increase in the number of investments in this type of asset.
Investment volume in Madrid and Barcelona
The office segment is a dynamic market boosted by the percentage of employees who have returned to office working. During the first half of 2022, investment in the office segment in Madrid increased by 33%, compared to the figures recorded last year. According to data from the latest CBRE Figures report, 541 million euros were invested in the Spanish capital during H1 2022, accounting for half of the total amount invested in all of Spain.
