The e-commerce giant, Amazon, announced that it would begin the process of hiring another 3,500 new employees in major U.S. cities like New York, Phoenix, San Diego, Denver, Detroit and Dallas.
The plan includes 2,000 new jobs at its new offices on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue, which Amazon bought from WeWork for more than $1 billion, according to The Wall Street Journal. The e-commerce firm will thus add more than 80,000 square meters of office space thanks to its growth plans since the New York building alone will mean the addition of almost 60,000 square meters of space.
