
The e-commerce giant Amazon has started work on the construction of a logistics plant in El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz). The North American company is going to invest 6.5 million euros in the construction and fitting out of the centre, according to various local media sources.
The mayor of the town, Germán Beardo, has confirmed that the logistics platform will be located on the Las Salinas industrial estate. In total, the warehouse will span almost 12,000 square metres and will be located on a plot that spans more than 41,200 square metres.
