Amazon’s latest logistics centre is now officially operational in the city of Alcalá de Henares.
This is Amazon’s seventh logistics centre in Spain (and its second in the Community of Madrid), after those in San Fernando de Henares (Madrid), El Prat (Barcelona), Martorelles (Barcelona), Castellbisbal (Barcelona), Illescas (Toledo) and Dos Hermanas (Sevilla). The latter also opened in September. With these new facilities, the company expects to create more than 500 new permanent jobs over the next three years.
