Aiga Closes Logistics and Residential Operations Worth €50 Million in the Midst of the Pandemic

Aiga Advisory closed 8 operations in July as the lockdown restrictions were eased for a total investment volume of approximately 50 million euros.

DHL is the tenant of one of the assets transacted by Aiga.

Despite the situation resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic, the Real Estate team at Aiga Advisory, led by Borja de la Quintana, has closed several operations in recent weeks, including the sale of 2 logistics warehouses in Valencia and Castellón, for just over 20 million euros, both of which are leased to DHL. Logistics is one of the star sectors of the market this year as it is considered a safe refuge from the economic uncertainty elsewhere.

Meanwhile, in the residential sector, Aiga has brokered the purchase of a 13-unit residential building to be renovated in the centre of Madrid, for 4 million euros according to market sources, with the aim of converting it into rental homes. In the hotel segment, it has also advised on the sale of a 43-room hotel in the centre of Malaga, for more than 10 million euros, at a time when the crisis in the sector means that many assets are being put on the market.
