Acciona and the investment fund Tristan Capital Partners are considering selling their office project in 22@ after the summer. According to Expansión, they will finalise the divestment by the fourth quarter of the year.
Barcelona’s latest office development will have a surface area of 31,000 square metres, divided into four buildings. The consultancy firm Webhelp will be the main tenant. It has a ten-year pre-contract for 20,000 square metres. This makes it one of the largest deals signed in Barcelona in the last decade.
The development was launched at the beginning of last year with an investment of 100 million euros.
Investment in Barcelona’s office sector reached 545 million euros in the first half of the year. This is 73% more than in the same period last year, according to the consultancy firm CBRE. It is also the highest figure since 2008, making it the best quarter in thirteen years.
