Neither the firm that seemed to have the advantage from the beginning (Segro) nor the group that looked to be the favourite after the former pulled out (Logicor) to develop the great logistical hub in the area next to Madrid airport have been awarded the tender. The original envelopes were opened in June and that was when it became known that there were five offers on the table.
And now, Aena’s Board of Directors has approved the award of the first logistics development area of the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport City to the company P3 Group Sarl, a subsidiary of the sovereign wealth fund of Singapore.
