76% of Spanish Families Own Their Own Home

The study was carried out by the Family Savings Observatory of the 'Fundación Mutualidad de la Abogacía' and the Fundación IE of the IE University.

The Family Savings Observatory of the ‘Fundación Mutualidad de la Abogacía’ and the Fundación IE of the IE University has carried out a study into the resilience of Spanish households during the current health crisis. The most important conclusion that they have reached is that 8 out of 10 households that do not own any real estate have faced a financial situation below the subsistence threshold.

Moreover, this phenomenon facing families that do not own properties is also occurring in families that do own properties but at a lower percentage. In that case, 6 out of 10 families have faced the situation.
