7% of Real Estate Companies Increased their Activity During the Pandemic

According to a study by Fotocasa involving real estate experts, the decrease in volumes during 2020 has weighed down on results and the forecasts for 2021 are moderate.

The Covid-19 crisis has led to a reduction in the volume of activity in the real estate sector. This has been confirmed by a study carried out by Fotocasa involving experts, who point out that 77% of companies have seen their business diminish since the outbreak of the pandemic: 42% confirm that volumes are much lower and 35% say that they are lower. On the positive side, 11% have maintained their activity and 7% have actually increased volumes.

Real estate companies have felt the crisis most in terms of the number of contact requests. 39% state that such requests have decreased a lot and 28% say that they have fallen slightly. In this case, small agencies have been hit the hardest with more than half saying that their contact requests have declined significantly.
