1Q21: Rents Fall by 17% YoY in Barcelona

According to the report, “Residential Market in Spain 2021,” prepared by the consultancy firm CBRE, estimates are that this year there will be growth of 5% in the number of home sales and a slight decrease in prices of between 0% and -1%. “For the second half of 2021, we estimate that this positive trend will continue to rise,” says Xavi Güell, director of the CBRE Barcelona office. After the intense impact of the pandemic, a moderate dynamism has appeared in just a few months.
