El Corte Inglés is pushing ahead with its real estate divestment strategy. The group’s latest sales are the El Corte Inglés sports store in Sevilla’s Plaza del Duque and the Simago building, located in Córdoba. Just two months ago, the company announced the sale of the two centres. The buyer of both of the commercial assets in Andalucía is the manager Inbest Real Estate, which has disbursed 30 million euros for the property in Sevilla and a further 18.1 million euros for the asset in Córdoba.
The two assets form part of the list of thirty properties that El Corte Inglés announced it would be selling over the coming months for between 650 and 700 million euros. The premises located in Sevilla span 4,800 square metres spread over four floors, with a commercial area of 2,800 square metres.
