Córdoba will soon recover one of its most iconic buildings. Diglo, the servicer owned by Banco Santander, has completed the sale of the Palacio de Moratalla, known as Cordoba’s answer to the Palace of Versailles due to its spectacular gardens, to a private investment group. The palace was renovated in 2010 for tourist use and the operation means that the servicer has now recorded revenues of more than 10 million euros since its creation in July.
The Palacio de Moratalla, whose construction was commissioned by Alfonso XIII in 1918, has a constructed surface area spanning more than 4,000 square metres spread over two floors. The main set of buildings is organised around three patios, around which the 25 palace rooms and other spaces in the complex are situated.
