The investment firm Conren Tramway has finalised the acquisition of a plot of land located at 106 Calle Almogavers to build an office building. Conren is looking to develop a 9,000 square metre building on the site in a €45-million investment. It aims to start construction in 2023.
Conren Tramway, a real estate investment management company, was founded by the brothers Jaime-Enrique and Paco Hugas and is based in Barcelona. Its projects include residential, hotel and office buildings. Its investment strategy is defined as value-added and focuses mainly on Barcelona.
This will be Conren’s fourth project in the 22@ area, two of which it sold to Amundi last year for €56 million, and a third to CommerzReal. In addition, the company is working in Eixample on the development of a 9,226 square metre building, divided between residential use, with some 108 homes, and the rest consisting of shops.
