Colonial has successfully issued a 500-million-euro bond through its French subsidiary Société Foncière Lyonnaise (SFL), the French company announced on Friday.
Specifically, the bond issue will mature in six and a half years and will accrue a coupon of 0.5%.
As explained by SFL, this new issue, maturing in April 2028, will be used for general corporate purposes and extends the average maturity of the group’s debt as part of its shareholder value creation strategy.
Settlement of the issue is scheduled to take place on October 21. In addition, SFL announced that the bonds would be listed on Euronext Paris.
Colonial’s French subsidiary currently has a BBB+ rating with a stable outlook from Standard & Poor’s rating agency.
