Up to 580,000 homes will be sold in 2022, whereby exceeding the figures recorded prior to the coronavirus pandemic, according to the real estate consultancy CBRE.
House prices will maintain their momentum boosted by progress in the new build segment, which will close this year with an annual increase of 4.5%, according to CBRE’s forecasts. Joan Pina, Director of the consulting firm’s Econometric Forecasting department, said that «this increase reflects, in part, the tensions in global supply chains and their effect on construction costs and deadlines.»
