The student accommodation market is still in good shape. Camplus, the Italian group specialising in student and guest accommodations, including university colleges, flats, residences and houses – is strengthening its international expansion strategy, prioritising Spain.
The firm is looking to establish itself in the cities that attract the most university students, such as Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Granada, Salamanca, Bilbao and Malaga. Camplus, which began operations in Pamplona in 2018 with the opening of its first residence outside Italy, will soon open a second in Seville.
The Seville opening is a further step in the growth of the Spanish market. «We intend to open and manage six student residences by 2023 and to reach 12 by 2025,» explains Miguel Ángel Alonso, general manager of Camplus Iberia.
