CaixaBank Hotels & Tourism granted loans amounting to 2.6 billion euros to the hotel and tourist accommodation sector in Spain in 2021, the highest volume of new financing that the entity chaired by José Ignacio Goirigolzarri has ever allocated to the sector in a single year.
This volume of credit consolidates the high lending figures recorded in previous years when 2.26 billion euros (2019) and 2.5 billion euros (2020) were loaned to the sector.
