
The Canadian fund Brookfield is finalising the sale of the luxury Hotel Sofía in Barcelona for close to 230 million euros, according to the newspaper Cinco Días. The sale operation is being advised by the consulting firm Colliers.
After acquiring the Selenta hotel portfolio for 440 million euros a year and a half ago, comprising the Sofía and Expo Hotels in Barcelona, the Don Carlos Resort & Spa in Marbella and the Mare Nostrum Resort in Tenerife, the company now wants to cash in with the sale of this hotel establishment.
