The American proptech Blueground has made its debut in Spain with an initial portfolio of 130 flats ready for their first tenants to move in under temporary rental contracts. With more than 10,000 flats in 26 cities around the world, the firm has entered Spain with assets in Madrid and Barcelona. Its medium-term goal is to grow its portfolio to 3,000 units across the country in just two years.
Specifically, Blueground has 80 flats in the Spanish capital and 50 in Barcelona, in districts as iconic as Salamanca, Justicia and Centro, in the case of Madrid, and Gracia, Eixample and Born, in the case of Barcelona. The company has already invested more than 2.5 million euros in Spain. Moreover, it forecasts investing close to 10 million euros over the next few years.
