During the Debate about the State of the Region, the President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has taken advantage of the fact that the controversy surrounding the country’s housing plans is in the news on account of the new law that the Government is struggling to agree, to announce a new package of real estate measures, divided into several plans, one of which involves placing on the market more than 10,000 affordable rental units.
In a place like Madrid, where land and rental housing is always in short supply, the Community’s portfolio would make it one of the largest promotors in the region.
