Average house prices in the 27 European Union countries rose by 4.6% in 2019, according to data from Eurostat. That percentage decreases to 4.2% if we refer to the hardcore 19 member countries.
The largest annual increases in house prices during the fourth quarter of 2019 were registered in Luxembourg (+ 11.0%), Slovakia (+ 10.9%) and Croatia (10.0%), whilst prices fell only in Cyprus (-4.8 %).
