The Avenue des Champs-Élysées remains one of Europe’s top commercial streets, ranking third in the latest study comparing pedestrian traffic growth in seven European capitals. It saw a 15% increase in footfall compared to last year, with an average of 1,009,000 monthly visitors per shop, as reported by Businessimmo.

The Champs-Élysées is divided between luxury and sport, with luxury brands concentrated in the upper part of the avenue and sports retailers located further down. Recent additions include new stores from luxury brands and the arrival of Lululemon and the relocation of Foot Locker, reflecting the dual nature of the street.

The Avenue des Champs-Élysées benefits from favorable conditions, including significant investments by the city for renovation and beautification, as well as the approaching Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The street has a low vacancy rate of 7% and is attracting brands willing to pay high prices for pop-up stores during the Olympics, presenting an opportunity for renewal and innovation.
