US e-commerce giant Amazon announced that it would open a new fcility in Valladolid. The last-mile logistics project seeks to strengthen the company’s position in the region and is its first in Castilla y León.
The 5,800-m2 asset will be fully operational in November this year. It will generate 60 jobs.
According to Brains Real Estate’s Big Data real estate platform, the rent per square metre of logistics space in Valladolid stands at €1.8, only €0.20 more expensive than in 2015. This price is 52.63% lower than the national average of €3.8 per square metre per month.
