Yesterday, the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, and the deputy mayor, Begoña Villacís, together with the delegate for Urban Development, Mariano Fuentes, presented the tender for the right to build more than 2,000 affordable rental homes in 11 districts of the Spanish capital.
In total, the tender has been announced for 25 plots of land across the capital, with a total value of 27.2 million euros, which will be grouped together into five different lots, according to various media reports. The plots are located in Valdebebas, Fuentelareyna, Campamento, Parque Ingenieros, Orcasitas, Francos Rodríguez, Planetarium and Méndez Álvaro.
