Colonial is committed to the build-to-rent sector. The socimi headed by Pere Viñales has commissioned ACR to build another such residential development.
This project consists of 374 homes on 57,000 square metres of land in the Méndez Álvaro neighbourhood. The project was designed by Estudio Lamela, with industrialised processes, including 440 bathrooms that will be inserted in 3D modules. It will also receive BREEAM certification.
The work will be completed in 21 months, although the first phase has already been completed. This first part consisted of the construction of the building’s ground floor.
This residential building is part of the Campus Méndez Álvaro project. It will have 60,000 square metres of office space above ground level, used for proptech initiatives.
